Avast Free Antivirus v5.0.373 BETA

Description:

More than six years out version 4 of Avast, a free antivirus that completely revolutionized the market for high quality and price of zero. Now, Avast comes back with the beta of version 5, a long overdue revolution.

The changes are obvious just start the installation. Avast 5 leaves light color palette of the series 4 to wear dark colors, with white trim and orange. The difference with the old interface is considerable. The old metal panel leaves more room for a window similar to that of the most popular antivirus.
Besides a facelift, Avast 5 has changed its engine adding interesting features. Not only are kept P2P protection modules, web and messaging, but adds a new one, the Behavior Shield (shield or behavioral), which monitors suspicious behavior on the part of any program.

The statistics are very detailed analysis and their accessibility, and options let you modify any parameter of Avast. You can activate special graphic effects, silent mode (to avoid notifications bother you) and even delay Avast service burden in memory.

However, the beta of Avast 5 still has a lot of polishing. The shield is incomplete and behavioral anti-rootkit protection does not work. The sounds and integration with Explorer are other outstanding issues. But if you want to try Avast in the future, this is your chance.

To use Avast need: Operating system: WinXP/Vista/7
